The Northfield Township Food Pantry is seeing a rise in residents needing support. If you live in Northfield Township and need assistance with rent, food or other financial strains, contact the township office at 847-724-8300. Remember, the Food Pantry is accepting donations and volunteers age 16 and upto help them keep up with this increasing demand.

Village of Wilmette Community Caretaker Program:

In an effort to provide extra support and assistance to our vulnerable and at-risk residents, including the elderly and residents with disabilities, the Village is launching a Community Caretaker program. Residents who are unable to leave their homes and need help with obtaining essential items such as groceries and medicine can submit a request through the Village Manager's Office by calling (847) 853-7502 or emailing Alex Arteaga at A Village employee will follow up with the requester to better understand the needs and situation, and as appropriate, the Village will coordinate with its network of organizations and volunteers to respond to the request.

You can also help protect the health and well-being of our community by joining the
Skokie Medical Reserve Corps.The Corps is a volunteer group of medical and non-medical professionals who assist the Health Department. If you’re interested in joining, emailClaudia Braden,RN, at the Skokie Health Department.

Niles Township is offering emergency financial assistance to residents who are experiencing financial distress from COVID-10.More information here.
